The Manik and Craig Wetherby collaboration features a selection of some of Wetherby's most popular imagery. Wetherby has photographed just about every relevant hip-hop artist to date while also being highly respected and admired by the punk rock and rock n roll communities alike.
We are proud to announce the first in a series of exhibitions showcasing these pieces at Goods in Seattle Saturday May 31st. The reception will be preceded by a skate demo by the Manik team at Innerspace.

HAPPY BIRTH DAY TO THE CHIMESTER.

The Pubs extends it's well wishes to Young JR who turns fuck I don't know,I think it's either 21 or 39 I'm not completely sure if anyone knows not even him.Lets hope that his big night turns out half as fun as last year which had Young Slime Time sporting nothing but his tighty whiteys at the old Cha (which earned him DOTW honors) or was that two years ago fuck time flys.Most likley JR will want to spend his evening sipping red wine listening to The Smiths staring deeply into some young tatooed gals eyes lightly macking but you never know maybe just maybe he'll want to come out with the goons and raise a little hell.

TURNS OUT TANNER MAKES ONE HELL OF A BELT.

Shouts out to the homie Sam for hooking me up with a brand new beautiful 9 ounce genuine leather belt(I went with black cuz I'm gangsta like that),which was about two years over due in my life.The belt is from a company called Tanner and are a sub division of Hecklewood Clothing from Portland all there belts are made in the USA from thick ass leather and are very simple in design.I've been wearing the belt ever since I got back from the Bay and I am very impressed with the constuction thank god my dad didn't wear this belt when I was a kid or else those tears would have been real and not just crocadile tears to get him to stop.

Developed by the British company Avcen, the Jetpod is a small twin-jet aircraft with newly developed VQSTOL (Very Quiet Short Take-off and Landing) technology - and it's aimed to make short-distance air travel possible in built-up urban areas by the year 2010.According to Avcen studies, there is a considerable demand for the Jetpod. Avcen's solution to urban traffic congestion is to provide air taxis which shuttle service between an outer city ring of park-and-fly sites and a number of STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) strips within the city centre.75 Jetpods would service a city the size of London and thereby relieve road traffic of 37,000 return car journeys every day. A one-way flight from outer London to the city centre would take just 4 to 6 minutes. The Jetpod doesn't even require a conventional runway. It can land on grass, dirt or stone-strewn areas. Avcen designed the Jetpod using the latest jet engine technologies for optimal fuel efficiency and lower emissions noise levels, when compared to car transportation.

...thats what Memorial Day is about. So this Sunday there are a couple of events going down. First is the Beauty and the Beast tour with Girl and Anti-hero at the new plaza in Bellevue. Later that night is the first Grime City Sunday brought to you by us at the Pubs. So get fat off of some meat and booze and then come drink some more with us.

Kerri sent me over this pic yesterday,it seems that during her birthday party at The Saint on Tuesday this young horny couple decided to pull there car right up in front of the place,park and proceed to fuck their brains out in the car right on Olive Way mindless to the flashing cameras and the fact that they were right across the street from The Cresent and we all know how gross that is.

Ed.Note Ray wants to know how many other people have to hold their breath when walking by The Cresent?

NEW AMAZING ANIMATED SHORT FROM BLU.

This has been making a few of the blog rounds but god damn if it isn't one of the coolest stop motion films I've seen in some time.Italian artist Blu who I've featured before did this piece on the streets of Buenos Aires and Baden and it is truely amazing can you imagine the time involved with painting,buffing,drying not to mention the scaffolding and lighting issues it's crazy,just FUCKING WATCH IT!!!

R.I.P. ROBERT RAUSCHENBERG.

Sometimes being on vacation sucks especially when you don't turn on a tv or a computer and you miss the news that your favorite artist in the world died the day before your birthday.I know it sounds crazy but I always felt a certain kinship to Rauschenberg and his work and fancied myself a new school version (I know I'm an ego maniac) but there was always something about his career that I really connected to and now he is gone.
