And maybe it just gets more gangster in Portland with this crazy story,amazing how much drama three letters can cause in a world with all the real problems we face.

One of which is Nico Phish and the other is the much respected and often neglected Mike Childress.Mike is everything that I like about a true Seattlelite (gay term but fuck...even gayer term) in a nut shell,down at the drop of a dime,hardworking when given a chance,fearless,never a complaint no matter how shitty the circumstances,thoughtful when you least expect it,adventurous and the perfect West Coast attitude without the attitude.I figure him and Nico compliment each other well in the streets even though neither of them will ever get shit except a beer off my six pack of Rainer tall boys there stuck for life holla.

Here is a sampling of a new series I started work on a few days ago entitled When Does This Shit Become "The Shit"? All the pieces are meant to be read in pairs but do tell a bigger deeper story when read together.The inspiration for this series comes from the countless hours of shit that I've poured into my brain sitting in front of the television and trying to figure out a way to use that useless shit to tell little stories much like the 30 minute sitcoms that infested my youth.But unlike those sitcoms which showed a nice safe happy place where life changing issues were dealt with and resolved within that time frame every week including commercials.I'm trying not to give the viewer a conclustion much the opposite I would rather raise questions than answer them in turn asking the audience one giant question when does this shit become "THE SHIT"?

I meant to write about this yesterday but I swear I had some form of heat exhaustion from these last few days in Seattle and thank god for that.Anyway every one's favorite barefoot criminal (unless you live on one of those islands) has been nabbed after more than a two year run from the law,all the while compiling quite the list of crimes including teaching himself to steal,fly and crash land air fucking planes.I'm not for stealing from the little guy and that's what Colton did but you have to be impressed with the kids survival skills and how he just taunted the idiot police with things like outlines of bare feet in chalk at crime scenes the kid was a fucking G.Like all good things it has to come to an end and unfortunately for Colton his spree ended this weekend in the Bahamas after he tried getting a little to big for his britches getting all Leo in "Catch Me If You Can" which I'm sure was an inspiration for Colton Harris-Moore who was definitely an inspiration to me.Now go sell your story for a million bucks and have them turn it into a movie cuz I'll go see that shit for sure it's the American way.

As much as I hate it advertising is everywhere,so it might as well be done right.If they are going to rape my eyes every other second of the day make it meaningful and this new Jeep commercial really hits the mark in my book,even if it's propaganda.

I know I have been a horrible blogger lately I just feel like the medium is over run and there really is nothing new to say that hasn't already been said a thousand times over by people who are more educated that me to say them.That being said sometimes I need to be heard and this is a very effective medium for that I've grown with this blog and have changed with it as well much like the passing of Dennis Hopper and Louise Bourgeois shit happens hope you understand.

Just in time for our countries Independence and all that flag waving crap the homies are having a group show with a terrorist theme sounds pretty fucking promising to me.The opening is from 9 till midnight although I think it should be from 9-11 get it haha so witty I know,it's down in P-Square by the 619 building son.

His work deconstructs darker imagery – things people don't necessarily want to see, whether political, sexual, societal, or racial in nature – then pieces them together in a way that changes and questions the original intent of the image. An artist who isn't afraid to push buttons, he deals in the realm of the funny yet offensive, taking a tongue-in-cheek look at modern culture. His pseudonym, FaNKULT, stands for “fanatical culture” and reflects his interest in society’s obsessions."

“Cry Me a River…” is an ode to society; an embodiment of frustration with the fighting, arguing, and complaining that seems to define much of today's news and events. “It just sums up my feelings about culture and humans and where we’re at, in general. Enough crying already; it hasn’t gotten us anywhere.”

"A self-taught artist who moved to Seattle in 1993, Clark has a strong DIY ethos and has produced work in a variety of mediums for nearly ten years. He collects first-edition art and photography books and believes that technology and self-publishing as some of the most powerful tools artists have today. His work was recently featured on two record album covers for the band Trash Talk, was included in a group show at BoConcept that he also curated, and has previously shown at BLVD, No Space and GOODS."
